Jaci Carroll Staffing is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator position in the Thomaston area. The hours are full-time, Monday through Friday, on the 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 11:00pm with a pay of $18.50-$24.00/hr. Training will be done on 1st shift from 8:00am to 4:00pm for the first month. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Duties:

• Physically count parts/components to monitor and maintain inventory records.

• Follow established material handling procedure across various inventory locations.

• Communicate with commercial carriers and customers.

• Operate forklift and/or hand truck to move pallets.

• Enter data into SAP computer system in a timely and accurate manner.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualified Candidates must have:

• Knowledge of international shipping documentation.

• Hands-on experience.

• Detail oriented.

• Min of high school diploma or GED required.

• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Candidates will have:

• Willingness to assist other cross-functional groups based on needs.

• Ability to work independently and be proactive.

• Ability to analyze, interpret and report data.

• Ability to prioritize work is essential.

• FedEx International shipping experience.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Experience in SAP.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and/or move 35lbs.

• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the production floor.

• Physical requirements include but not limited to sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, stooping, crouching, color determination and grasping.
