Recruiting for an overnight utility operator for a local manufacturer in the Naugatuck Valley area. This will be a contract to hire position with hours being Mon-Thurs 7pm-7am. Pay will start at $16/hr DOE. The purpose of this position is to operate machinery to make power cables and prepare for shipping to customers. Job Functions include:

• Read/use precision gauges and tools. Perform shop math when required.

• Set up and operate machine and processes to prepare product

• Monitor controls and materials. Move materials in and out of work area when needed.

• Repair machinery or coordinate repairs with maintenance and engineering

• Troubleshoot line problems and repair or request assistance as indicated

• Review documentation/work orders and document processes
