Requirements

Jaci Carroll Staffing is currently recruiting for a Raw Material Handler position for 3rd shift. The hours will be full-time, Monday through Friday with a pay of $16.50/HR. Training will be done on 1st shift. This is a temp-to-hire position.


RESPONSIBILITIES/AUTHORITY:

• Visually inspect the incoming raw material (packaging conditions).

• Store resins and concentrate in a designated area.

• Log the raw material in the Receiving Log Book.

• Keep inventory control on raw material.

• Label and keep recycled material in a designated area to reduce the risk of mix-ups.

• Keep machines full of resin.

• This position requires the ability to occasionally lift no more than 25 pounds.


DUTIES:

• Verify the information of the material in the paperwork and the boxes and/or bags.

• Label the incoming resins with the conforming or not conforming labels previously made per Q.A.

• Ensure the Dryer hoppers are cleaned before filling them up with resin.

• Make resin mixes according to job specifications.

• Label the dryers and runners containers of each of the jobs running with the appropriate labels and resin information.

• Grind runners.

• Maintenance of all equipment (grinders, fork lift).

• Working with RAW material, mixing it with colorant and loading into the hoppers among other duties.

• Keep records of all maintenance.

• This position requires the ability to occasionally lift no more than 25 pounds.

• PPE must be worn when required such as back brace and steel toe shoes.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work place.

• Deliver raw material to production department.

• Perform other duties as required.
