Jaci Carroll Staffing is currently recruiting for Quality Inspector positions on the 2nd and 3rd shift. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, with a pay of $16.20 an hour. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity in the Waterbury area.

RESPONSIBILITIES/AUTHORITY:

• Maintains all company quality procedures, instructions, and records.

• Performs first piece, in-process, and final inspection of produced parts.

• Performs incoming inspection of received components.

• Participates in internal and supplier Quality Audit Programs and report on the performance of the company and its suppliers.

• Assists in training other Quality or company personnel as directed by supervisor.

DUTIES:

• Ensures that the documentation control process is implemented.

• Maintains assigned registers and logs.

• Identifies and segregate any non-conforming product.

• Participates in final acceptance and release for shipments of product.

EDUCATION:

• High school degree.

• Certified mechanical inspector a plus.

• Knowledge of Geometric Tolerancing and ISO 13485:2016 a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of activity in quality assurance, quality control, or mechanical inspection.

• Demonstrated experience conducting inspections utilizing handheld inspection devices.

• Experience with optical measurement systems or CMM systems a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a small company environment.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
