Jaci Carroll Staffing is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector position in the area. The schedule will be flexible from Monday through Friday totaling to 30 hours a week, with a pay of $25.00/HR. This is a temp-to-hire position.

JOB SUMMARY: The inspection of materials, purchased or produced by the company, to determine if materials meet or exceed all specifications and requirements. Inspection includes receiving goods, first piece, non-routine (layout) and finished goods. Inspector will create and maintain inspection testing standards and product audit records. Processing of all assigned day-to-day work and assisting the President when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain data bases, records, and logs in accordance.

• Perform incoming inspections of raw material and purchased parts.

• Use of measuring devices i.e., height gauge, gauge blocks, gauge pins, shadow graphs, OD & ID micrometers, calipers, depth micrometer, profilometer, radius gauge, etc.

• Conduct 1st piece/in-process/1st article inspections.

• Verify parts are labeled correctly.

• Assist Tool Makers and Operators in assigned job functions.

• Maintain equipment in accordance to Metrology procedures and instructions.

• Maintain gage calibration program.

• Follow ISO9001:2015 procedures and work instructions.

• Conduct product audits of finished goods.

• Reviewing Nonconforming Material reports and disposition nonconforming materials.

• Other functions as required and assigned by supervisor.

RECOMMENDED POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years experience or equivalent work experience in the inspection and/or quality profession.

  
  

• Good understanding of inspection methods and techniques and understanding and implementation of receiving goods sampling, auditing techniques, SPC/SQC interpretation.

• Must be able to read/interpret blue prints and have a good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

• A good understanding of Quality Management Systems.

• Must have CMM/Vision System experience.

• Computer literate in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).

• Good oral and written communication skills.
