Jaci Carroll Staffing is currently recruiting for a Floater position in the Watertown area. The hours are full-time, Monday through Friday, on the 1st shift with a pay of $20.23/hr. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving Support: Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including operating computers, tow motors, moving materials to and from presses, and warehouse work.

Forklift Operation: Experience and certification in forklift operation are a plus, as the role may require moving materials using a forklift.

Maintenance Assistance: Support the maintenance team with machine guarding tasks and general maintenance duties.

Machine Operator Support: Provide coverage for operators who may be absent or offer extra support for machinery when needed.

Driving Duties: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required to transport materials as necessary.

Basic Mechanical Aptitude: Possess a fundamental understanding of mechanical systems to assist with minor repairs and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience and certification (preferred).

• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing work environment.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
