Jaci Carroll Staffing is currently recruiting a Warehouse/Material Handler for an immediate 2nd shift opening in the local area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a starting pay of $19.21 per hour.

Position Summary:

• Operating forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck - specify if a particular type is preferred) to load, unload, stack, and move materials.

• Performing daily pre-shift inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Handling materials with care to prevent damage and ensure proper storage.

• Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with inventory management tasks like cycle counts and stock rotation.

• Preparing materials for shipment, ensuring correct labeling, packaging, and documentation.

• Collaborating with supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient operations.

• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA regulations, to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting (e.g., 2+ years preferred).

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems a plus.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
