This role is based in Middlebury, CT and will work closely with the staffing team, back office, sales team, and leadership to provide exceptional service.

This is not a slow recruiting role. It is a people-focused, high-activity staffing role where the recruiter has to move quickly, manage details, provide proactive communication, timely updates, and protect both the client and candidate relationship.

The Professional Recruiter / Staffing Consultant is responsible for building candidate pipelines, screening and qualifying talent, submitting strong candidates, coordinating interviews and starts, and supporting placements across office services, professional, and direct hire roles.

The business outcome is simple: fill open jobs faster, improve candidate quality, increase starts and placements, reduce no-shows and fall-offs, protect client relationships, and help grow Jaci Carroll’s Professional & Office Services Division.

Candidate Sourcing and Pipeline Development:

• Source active and passive candidates through job boards, ATS/CRM searches, referrals, LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, local networking, call campaigns, and database mining.

• Build candidate pipelines for recurring, administrative, clerical, office support, customer service, accounting, HR, and professional roles.

• Maintain a pool of qualified, available, and reachable candidates for urgent openings.

• Identify candidates who can be placed now, redeployed later, or developed for future direct hire opportunities.

• Keep strong candidates engaged for future opportunities

• Request referrals from strong candidates and placed employees.

• Conduct phone screens, video screens, and in-person interviews when needed.
