Requirements

Currently recruiting for a Sales Support/Customer Service Representative for a supplier of cosmetic ingredients in the local area. This is a full time position, with hours being Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm; pay will be $20-$23/hr depending on prior experience. Position may require periodic travel for trade shows. The Customer Service Representative will respond to customer emails, assist customers via telephone, handle order processing, and handle other office tasks as they arise.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist customers via telephone, email and Live Chat and handle order processing

  • Maintain information within databases and spreadsheets

  • Handle confidential materials in a sensitive manner

  • Contact customers as needed for outreach and to obtain projections for customer requirements

  • Handle trying customer service issues by phone and email, communicate customer complaints to appropriate channels, schedule follow-ups as appropriate

  • Take on new tasks as needed. Will be cross-trained to help with coverage for other roles as required.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative work experience. Experience in the customer service field and customer interaction is a plus

  • High school degree or equivalent. College degree or some college is a plus.

  • Interest, knowledge and/or willingness to learn about natural cosmetics is a big plus.

  • Must have computer proficiency and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
