About the Role
We are recruiting for an organized part-time Office Assistant with excellent customer service skills for an established manufacturer in the Thomaston area. This is a contract to hire opening with part-time hours, Monday-Thursday, either 9:00AM-1:00PM or 10:00AM-2:00PM. The pay range is $16-20/hr+ depending on prior experience.
The Office Assistant would be responsible for answering phones, responding to customer service requests, quoting price sheets, entering sales orders, shipping documents using UPS, and creating flyers to circulate notices to other employees. Should have at least one year of administrative office experience and a professional telephone manner, along with strong computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and performing data entry.
