Jaci Carroll Staffing is currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant for a small company in the Waterbury area. This is a contract to hire position with pay depending on prior experience. Hours will be Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. The Executive Assistant will be the primary administrator for the office, working directly under the President and assisting with a variety of tasks, including:
Answer phones and assist visitors. Assist customers over the phone with questions regarding orders, delivery status, and payment status. Direct phone calls as necessary to other staff members.
Assist president with the buying and inventory of product and supplies necessary for the company.
Hand out appropriate paperwork, including application and onboarding paperwork to applicants and new employees. Will review and evaluate incoming applications to provide feedback to hiring managers and/or president.
Data entry of orders and file maintenance. Deposit checks and maintaining payment log.
Must have 10 years of executive administration experience and a High School diploma or GED equivalent. College education is a plus. Experience using Peachtree software a plus, but can train along with training of in house software. If interested please submit a resume for review.
