Currently recruiting for a CV Operator for a location in the local Waterbury area on the 3rd shift. This is a contract to hire position, with hours being Mon-Fri 11pm-7am, with occasional overtime available. Pay rate will begin at $16/hr. This job is responsible for operating machinery to apply insulation/shield to cable or wire.

Essential Job Functions:

• Set up and operate machinery processes in multiple areas within assigned work environment, including lathe machines, tower machines, forklift, hand truck, hand tools, calibration tools, pallets

• Clean and reassemble machinery when required

• Monitor controls, materials and processes in assigned area. Load/replace materials when needed

• Monitor quality of production

• Change out and slice product for continued production

• Repair machinery and prepare components for machines. Coordinate other repairs with maintenance and engineering

• Operate power moving devices, change propane cylinders

• Direct and delegate work to helpers when their assistance is required, train other employees when needed

• Document processes and review documentation and work orders

• Communicate with supervisor regularly
